Three reasons pilots come back to us — and to the sky

04 750 ft

You don't need a reason. But if you have one, we've probably heard it.

Maybe you've flown before — a paragliding taster, a helicopter ride, a flying lesson years ago, even a skydive. Or maybe you've simply always wondered what it would feel like to leave the ground under your own control.

Either way, something's likely held you back. The weather at home that never cooperates. Courses that put you in a group of eight and call it “personal attention.” Or simply not knowing who to trust with something that matters this much to get right.

That's exactly the gap we built Malaga Beach Flying to close.

Two ways to fly with us. Both fully private.

Every session is weather-dependent and instructor-led. We'll always be honest with you about what a given day allows.

A decade in the air. A hundred students who'll vouch for it.

Our instructors have been flying for over 10 years. Malaga Beach Flying has trained more than 100 students since 2021, many of them making their first flight — or their first flight in decades — right here in Benajarafe.

Questions people ask us before they fly

Am I too old to start paramotor flying?

Most of our students are exactly your age. Paramotor flying is gentle, controlled, and taught entirely at your pace — there's no upper age limit, only a level of comfort we build together, one flight at a time.

Is paramotor flying dangerous?

Like any aviation activity, it carries inherent risk — which is exactly why every flight is one-to-one, fully instructor-guided, and built around your comfort level, never rushed.

I've never flown anything before — is that a problem?

Not at all. Most of our students start with zero experience. That's the entire point of one-to-one instruction: we start exactly where you are.

What if my partner or family don't want to fly?

That's more common than you'd think — and it's not a problem here. Benajarafe and Málaga aren't a training camp in the middle of nowhere. You're minutes from beach bars, restaurants, and accommodation ranging from Airbnbs to hotels, so the people you bring can enjoy the trip while you fly.

Is there a way to progress further after this?

Some pilots, once they've fallen in love with flying, choose to continue their training further with us — always at their own pace, always guided. Where that road leads is something we discuss once you're flying, not before.

When can I book?

We teach year-round, except weekends and most of August (heat permitting — special arrangements are sometimes possible with early morning flights).

Benajarafe. Not the middle of nowhere.

Wide, quiet beach — perfect for calm, controlled flying — just minutes from Málaga, with restaurants, beach bars, and accommodation for every budget close by, from Airbnbs to hotels to campsites. Bring your partner, your family, or come alone. Either way, nobody has to choose between the trip they want and the flight you came for.
